First CSOSI Report for Afghanistan and Pakistan Launched
January 18, 2013Add commentOn January 16, an event featuring panelists from two continents discussed the sustainability of civil society in Afghanistan and Pakistan. At the Stimson Center in Washington, DC, the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), Management Sciences International (MSI), the International Center for Not for Profit Law (ICNL), and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) launched the first edition of a new annual report, the Civil Society Organization Sustainability Index (CSOSI) for Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Creating Art that Points Toward Change
November 30, 2012Add commentIn conjunction with the 2012 San Francisco Partnership Walk, an art contest featured the work of students on the theme of ending poverty and promoting pluralism. The San Francisco Walk took place on October 14, 2012 and was part of the national Partnership Walk, an initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. (AKF USA) to raise awareness and funds for alleviating global poverty.
