Now, MYP is Recognized

The Middle Years Programme (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) is now recognized as an equivalent to class X of an Indian Board assessment. “It is a very important milestone for the Aga Khan Academy and for International Baccalaureate schools in India and abroad,” said John Puddefoot, Head of the Aga Khan Academy in Hyderabad. “IB diploma students are already sought out by major universities in Europe and North America, so this decision opens the way for IB students who complete our Middle Years Programme to be accepted at all Indian junior colleges. It also reinforces the acceptance of the IB by all Indian universities as well.”
