Partnership Run Houston

Date: Saturday, September 15, 2012

Location: Herman Square

This Year's Highlights

7,500 participated in the Houston Partnership Walk and iRun to demonstrate their support for ending global poverty, at Herman Square. The iRun featured one-mile fun run and a 100 yard dash, along with a 3K family walk. The Houston Partnership iRun is an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. (AKF USA) to raise awareness and funds that reduce poverty, hunger, illiteracy and poor health in Africa and Asia. This year’s Houston’s Walk and iRun raised $1.1 million. 100% of the funds raised at Partnership Run go directly to projects supported by the Foundation, not a cent is spent on administration.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the 2012 event such a success!
