Register

To be eligible for awards and begin fundraising, register
to walk as individual or team. You can register online or download a registration form.

Fundraise

All Walkers and Walk Teams are encouraged to spread awareness and raise funds for the Walk. Check out the Teams and Ambassadors Guide for fundraising tips and ideas. By registering online, you will also have access to a personal donations page to raise funds and recruit team members online.

Using your personal donations page is as easy as
1 - 2 - 3:

1. Log in to your personal donations page.
   (Forgot your username / password? Click here.)
2. Customize your page under "My Webpage" by sharing your story and photos.
3. Under "Email", send friends, family and co-workers the page link to make a donation in your name.

Sponsor

Join the ranks of other internationally minded individuals and socially responsible companies as a sponsor for Partnership Walk.  

To become a corporate sponsor:

1. Review sponsorship opportunities
2. Select desired sponsor level
3. Sponsor online or contact your local Walk City Representative.

Volunteer

Sign up to receive information about volunteer opportunities near you and join hundreds of other individuals of all ages across the country working together in the fight against global poverty.

Donate

Donate to make a gift of hope to support programs that open doors for progress, opportunity and change. 100% of your tax-deductible contribution goes directly to projects supported by the Foundation. Not a cent is spent on administration. Learn more to find out how far your contribution actually goes.

Bike to Walk

Want to take your involvement with Partnership Walk to the next level?  Join us at the third annual PartnershipsInAction Bike toWalk preceding the Chicago Partnership Walk! Bike to Walk is an opportunity for individuals to bike roundtrip from Montrose Harbor to North Avenue Beach, or from Montrose Harbor to Millennium Park, enjoying views of Chicago’s beautiful lake shore to raise funds and awareness for Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A.’s projects in the developing world.  Registration for the Walk will immediately follow the bike ride in the same location.

Registration: 8:00 a.m.

Bike Ride Begins: 8:30 a.m.

Return to Montrose Harbor: 11:00 a.m.   (in time for Walk registration)

Rent a Bike

For those who would like to participate but don't have a bicycle, you may reserve a rental bicycle with helmet through Bobby’s Bike Hike.  Rental fee is $20 before October 4 and $23 there on after ($25 if reserved day of event).

Event Details and Awards

Walker Awards

Rally your friends, family and colleagues to support you by collecting donations and earn special awards. Learn more.

To qualify for the awards, all contributions must be received on or before the day of the Walk. AKF USA reserves the right to substitute awards with items of equal or greater value.

Team Awards

With a minimum of 5 team members and by collectively raising a minimum of $250, you and your team can become eligible to win Team-All and Team High awards. Learn more.

Ambassador Awards

The Partnership Walk Ambassador program recognizes walkers who collect individual sponsorships totaling $1,000 or more. Each Ambassador receives special Partnership Walk merchandise, and for each $1,000 raised, individuals are entered in a prize drawing for their Walk city.
